Description
Create innovative new product designs from concept through to production.
Carry out Engineering Change Notes
Work closely with Customers and Suppliers to bring products to life
Customer visits
Support the production department to ensure that parts go together smoothly and efficiently.
Support the quality department with product improvements.
Your Experience / Skills
Must have experience of 3D & 2D CAD. Solidworks
Ability to work on your own.
Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
Ability to carry our tolerance stacks
Ability to work to agreed timescales. Achieve deadlines
Have knowledge and understanding of die cast, moulded, pressed and machined parts.
At least 2 years’ experience in engineering design.
Qualification:
Degree qualified preferably Mechanical Engineering or Design
Salary Range:
up to £27,000
