Offering the three primary plastic printing technologies of SLA, FFF and CFF meltd3d has the capability and capacity to support all plastic additive
manufacturing requirements.
Fully characterised material portfolio means we offer what we know works works; an ever-expanding materials library as we trail and approve new products [MDS and SDS available for all].
A wealth of industrial and aerospace design experience to guide, consult or whole package deliver your requirement from concept through design to production.
Design for Manufacture and not just for Additive Manufacture – we understand DFM and have the experience to ensure the intended end use production method is considered throughout the process.
Technologies
SLA - the high resolution, fine detail printing technology. Parts produced from a range of approved engineering, dental and general resins...
Castable | Durable | Tough | Flexible | High Temperature
Dental | Dental Modelling | General
(0.025mm – 0.01mm layer thickness)
FFF- the traditional filament deposition technology capable of producing parts in a huge range of materials and colours at amazing quality. True engineering grade materials to the aesthetically inspiring...
ABS | CPE | Nylon | PC | HIPS | Onyx | Carbon Fill | Flexible SBC and TPE
Flame Retardant | PLA | Wood Fill | Brass
Fill| Stone Fill | TPU | PP… and many more
(0.06mm – 0.02mm layer thickness)
CFF - the engineering application – parts are produced on specialist machines capable of incorporate continuous fibres into each layer to significantly enhance the components strength and durability. Using two primary material options of Nylon or Onyx which can be combined with a selection of continuous fibres if required. Fibre reinforced parts can achieve mechanical characteristic similar to high grade aluminium with significantly improved fatigue capabilities. A true Composite material for demanding applications.
