Why SOLIDWORKS Composer?
SOLIDWORKS Composer enables you to create technical publications that stay parametric with your SOLIDWORKS CAD designs. This means you can begin the creation of technical publications in parallel with the CAD designs rather than afterwards to dramatically streamline your processes.

Over two days, learn how to create high quality vector output images, animate assembly sequences and create fully interactive documents amongst many other commands.

PREREQUISITES
  • Prior experience of SOLIDWORKS would be beneficial but not necessary as SOLIDWORKS Composer runs as a standalone application to SOLIDWORKS and hence has its own user interface.

For our training course we had Leo Lewis, for our general setup at work we had Jamie Thain and helping to coordinate our training making sure we could attend we had Niamh Marshall. The training was excellent in helping to demonstrate the composer software, teach us what we needed overall as well as more specific things tailored towards our company needs. Well versed, patient, easy to get along with, funny and consistent. Great team of people doing a great job.

The course and training material provided were both excellent. There is a lot to cover in two days, but with a small group (mine was a total of 4 people + trainer), progress was swift. Training manual provided is logically laid out and well written. The files used during the training were provided once the course was completed, making it easy to go back through any of the examples and refresh ones memory.

The course is very focused, covering all the features available in the software. The supporting materials are excellent, and the instructor has a deep understanding, maintaining a good flow during the lessons. Personally, I wholeheartedly recommend this training.

James was very professional, well spoken, and just generally properly put together. No issues with him at all- he was excellent. The course material was and is also excellent- the book is excellent and will be a staple in my work life going forward.
The course itself however, was very fast paced from someone with limited to no modelling experience such as myself. Trying to navigate around models and keeping up was very challenging at times. Maybe, introducing some sort of "comfortable with 3D modelling" requirement would solve this. Other than that, excellent course I would recommend SolidSolutions to everyone if they are looking for training.
