SOLIDWORKS Electrical allows integration between the electrical and mechanical design processes, this makes it possible to precisely design products requiring electrical systems for power, control safety and data acquisition.

The 3D element of the Electrical program allows users to import their 2D wiring diagrams to automate the 3D routing of electrical parts, wires and cables into their SOLIDWORKS assembly models.

Very well presented with great engagement and support throughout. Feel much more confident moving forward with this tool.

The course was interesting and the support from our instructor was amazing- he did a great job - however there were technical issues for me which meant I was always asking for help and fell behind other people taking the course- this must have been frustrating for them as well as myself. The technical issues meant my computer had to be restarted 2 or 3 times and the last time I was kicked out and wasn't able to re entre the system. Not being able to keep up made me feel panicked which isn't constructive in a learning environment.

There were some questions that he was unable to answer directly but he provided guidance on where to find answers and took information back to the main office to discuss / pass on with the subject matter expert.

Dave Ashford was our trainer. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and good at explaining the subject.
I would have given this 5 stars if the training booklet matched the solidworks version we are using.
