Why SOLIDWORKS Drawings?
This course, focused entirely on the 2D drawings aspect of the package, goes in depth into setting up drawing sheets, creating drawing views, applying dimension schemes and generating bills of materials.

For CAD managers we work through an example of creating, customising and reusing drawing border information to enable your drawing sheets to contain dynamic place holders to model information. Also learn how to reuse drawing data, manage references correctly and check your work against a baseline standard.

The course trainer running my course was Herwan (Wan). He was friendly and professional and overall a good instructor and he seemed to help people who struggled well. There was a couple of times he explained things a little too briefly.

He did seem to have a different revision of the book than that of the course goers, which was a little annoying for everyone but he made sure that everyone was in the same place.

I had the privilege of learning from an excellent course trainer during the SOLIDWORKS Drawings Training. Their deep knowledge of the software, clear explanations, and hands-on demonstrations made the learning process highly effective. They were always approachable, patient with questions, and provided invaluable insights beyond just the basics of drawing. This was the second course I have attended and the second time of having Keeley as the trainer. Both times Keeley delivered the material in a clear and concise manner whilst helping with any questions I had.

I would not hesitate to recommend the training from SolidSolutions as although I did have prior experience with SW I was still able to take away a lot of tips that will be beneficial to me going forward.

As always on the Solid Solutions courses, our trainer was very knowledgeable and good at explaining things in a clear and patient way. Especially to the awkward student like me who seems to require asking 10 times more questions than anyone else.

Specifically to this Drawing course, it has paid for it's self. Phoebe has taught me how to create a drawing in minuets that took me 3 days to create myself.

His name was Samuel Kirk, I think he did the best job he could to try and teach us anything new, it was difficult as I understand the majority of the course material but Sam nonetheless continued to try to show me something new. He is a friendly guy so the course felt really chill. He definitely seemed to know what he was talking about. If I wanted to know about anything Sam would almost always provide a good answer.

The course content and supporting materials were excellent as usual, as were the location and facilities.
I do feel that delivery of the course could have been better. I struggled to understand Dawid at times, this was a sentiment echoed by others in the group during our lunch break chats.
He was clearly very knowledgeable but it was difficult to absorb the information while concentrating on understanding the point he was delivering. This is not a criticism of Dawid, he did a good job delivering the content in his 2nd language.
Unfortunately there was not enough time to cover all of the points that were not understood first time around.
Overall I found this course disappointing in terms of the knowledge that I was able to take from it. I feel that I will need to sit the course again, work through the training manual in it's entirety or research online to fully understand the drawings element of SW.
