Description
The role of the Airflow and Rotating Systems Engineer is to work within a team of engineers with specific responsibility for the airflow performance of both current and future products and applications.
The airflow aspect of this role including running Aerodynamic and Thermodynamic simulations on new and current products, designing airflow systems based on performance requirements and support the Engineering Team with new developments.
The rotating systems aspect of the role involves vibration analysis and validation of both high and low speed rotating systems on the product including (but not limited to) fan drive systems, powertrains, drivetrains and hydraulic pumps.
Your Experience / Skills
You will have a proven track record of using Computational Fluid Dynamics and an ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of SolidWorks.
The successful applicant must have excellent communications skills, an ability to work within a multi-disciplined team and have formal qualifications in mechanical or automotive engineering.
Some occasional international travel will be required.
