Qualification:
You will be educated to at least HNC level and preferably degree level in mechanical engineering and be able to demonstrate the following:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or equivalent.
• Professional experience conducting Static FEA Simulations to complex assemblies.
• Excellent practical experience of using SolidWorks to produce innovative and cost-effective designs.
• Knowledge of designing fabrications and machined parts for special purpose machines.
• Experience of specifying standard machine parts including bearings, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, couplings and fasteners.
Salary Range:
£25,000 to £28,000
