Isometric Section Views

Tuesday October 9, 2012 at 8:28pm

I recently visited a customer who asked me to create an enhancement request with SOLIDWORKS for the ability to create Isometric Section Views in drawings, however this functionality already exists!

To be honest the option is a little hidden away, so here’s how you do it: -

1. Create a drawing with a conventional section view.

2. Right mouse button on the section view.

3. Select “Isometric Section View” from the menu.

4. Now you will have an Isometric Section View!
