SOLIDWORKS Training

How many training courses are available?

We run 30 different training courses. You can see the full schedule here.

Where can I see the training course contents?

By clicking the picture in the top right of the course description page.

What is a training passport?

The SOLIDWORKS & SolidCAM Training Passports offer you a comprehensive training and development plan in one single purchase. These passports allow you to make massive savings on training, compared to booking multiple courses one at a time.

The SOLIDWORKS & SolidCAM are separate training passports that need to be purchased individually.

What training is available to me?

There is an option of a ‘training passport’ which is valid for 12 months after the first course is sat. This gives you access to all courses on the matrix.

Is there anything I should practice before the SOLIDWORKS Essential Course?

Whilst you can attend the Essentials course with no prior experience, if possible it is worth using the software and possibly running through the tutorials included within SOLIDWORKS.

After SOLIDWORKS Essentials what course should I attend?

This largely depends on how you aim to ultimately use SOLIDWORKS, I’d recommend discussing this with either your account manager or your trainer during the Essentials course. The Advanced Part Modelling, Assembly and Drawing courses all build upon the topics introduced in Essentials and recommended for developing your core SOLIDWORKS skills.
