Opening references from within Contains / Where Used TABs

Follow this tip for a simple way to open files of different types directly from the 'Contain' and 'Where Used' tabs of SOLIDWORKS EnterprisePDM.

When you select any file reference within the Contains or Where Used TABs you may notice an icon in the group of icons to the right of the bar that changes to the icon for that file type. This is actually a command button that will open the file in the application associated to that file type, as indicated by the displayed icon. In the image below you can see a SOLIDWORKS file, PDF and Word Document displaying the associated Icons.
