2013 Flow Streamlines

Friday October 5, 2012 at 5:17pm

Attention all Flow users!!!

I have just been experimenting with the brand new 2013 Flow streamline capability - and am very excited :) This is a brand new way of showing flow lines on surfaces or cut plots. The benefit is that it gives the user a detailed understanding of how fluids flow over a surface. This is brilliant for seeing local eddies and vortices. The really clever thing they have done is to harness the power of the graphics card to enhance the plots. As you zoom in it computes more detail - in real time. Details that you did not notice when zoomed out suddenly appear as you zoom in to detail areas - and it is quick!

I would love to add a few colour images to show you - but I am afraid you will need to come to one of our launch events around the country to see this. Sign up on www.solidsolutions.co.uk
