I had a call on the helpdesk the other day from a Customer wanting to know if he could check the status on a current project with respect to the creation and release of Drawings so I pointed him towards this tip.
If you select a managed Assembly in Windows Explorer and look at the 'Contains' Tab then you can see a list of all the Parts and Sub-Assemblies that make it up, but not the drawings.
![Contains Information](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==)
If you however, toggle the option "Show / Hide Configurations"....
![Show / Hide Configurations](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==)
...then all the Drawings can be displayed.
![Contains with Drawings](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==)
![Contains Detail](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==)
By viewing the 'State' Column the User / Manager can instantly see that a drawing has
a) been created and
b) see it's current Workflow State.
