Position: SolidWorks CAD operator
Reporting to: Head of Manufacturing
Date: February 2016
Salary: Dependent on experience
Hours: 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

Main Purpose of Role:
Working as part of a Manufacturing Team, that delivers comfort solutions through a range of quality furniture products.
You will be working on our CAD utilising Solidworks suite to create engineered drawings for our range of upholstered furniture. Also, you will record all of our current frame components and frame assembly drawings to assist the production unit and work alongside our development team on new products.
Key Responsibilities:
Create 2D engineering drawings
Create assembly packs for Product Development
Create 3D parts and assembly models
Generate Bill of Material files
Key Skills/Requirements:
• Interest in furniture design
• Strong design skills
• Minimum of 1yr experience working with SolidWorks software package
• Excellent written and oral skills
• Self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision within agreed task boundaries
• Good attention to detail
