REVIEW SERVICES

What is the Purpose of our Review Services?
To Understand and Improve your Business
Business Development & Review Services are characterized by their key objective, understanding you & your needs. All of the services in this type involve review of your processes, workflows and even your team. A true, deep understanding of our customers allows us to deliver ‘turnkey’ improvements that revolutionize businesses.
What are these services?
The Development and Review services enable our customers to take a fresh look at the way they are doing things, and will give feedback on where improvements could be made or alternative solutions deployed. Its really important that all engagements result in a tangible outcome and a clear ‘road-map’ to improvement.
What is the outcome?
It's key to us that we don’t just highlight problems, instead we propose solutions and a route to improvement. The deliverables vary between services but can include personalized training road-maps, written reports covering issues or improvement presentations to key-shareholders. Outcomes typically cover many things but will include both short term ‘quick-wins’ and medium-term improvements.
How Does the Skills Assessment Tool work?
Our Skills Assessment Tool works online in any browser. There is a short description below but visit our Skills Assessment page for the full details.

PDM SERVICES

SOLIDWORKS PDM CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

Each new release of SOLIDWORKS PDM includes enhancements that impact the user experience, but more important are the changes within the software itself that allow customers to refine or extend their use of SOLIDWORKS PDM to gain further benefits from the implementation. Not finding the time to understanding the benefits of new features, where they could be used and how best to integrate them into the existing Vault configuration, is the main reason why implementations stagnate.

Following a high-level overview of what’s new in the latest release, we will review your existing configuration and use cases, providing feedback on any best practice and configuration changes that could be implemented to allow you to design more efficiently. Agreed changes will then be implemented and tested.

Details

During the sessions we will cover:

    Part #1 What’s New in PDM 20xx
    • Administration and User Experience enhancements
    • Review of existing set up and requirements
    Part #2 Implementation / Training
    • Review and Risk Assess proposed changes
    • Implement and validate agreed changes
    • Administrative walkthrough / demonstration of changes implemented
SOLIDWORKS PDM CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PLUS

Following a high-level overview of what’s new in the latest release for PDM, we will review your existing configuration and use cases, providing feedback on any best practice and configuration changes that could be implemented to allow you to design more efficiently.

For customers with more complex implementations that may also include off the shelf or bespoke add-ins, implementing changes directly into a live Vault adds an increased degree of risk. To mitigate that risk, we will copy the production vault as a ‘sandbox’ environment in which to test / validate proposed changes.

For customers with bespoke customisations, we would agree a test protocol based on any known / expected outcomes that would then be used as part of the validation and prior to transferring the updates into the live vault.
